In this article, we will take a look at using Proxy Servers with Bookmarking Demon and what you should do.
Article Highlight: I created a support ticket with Bookmarking Demon and I asked them: What is the best private proxy server to use with BD? They answered: ProxyBonanza.com.
After you buy bookmarking demon, you will realize that it is one of the best SEO tools that you can buy. However, even though the interface is easy to use, the program requires a lot of “getting to know” time.
And one of the ideas that you have to grasp is proxy servers.
Obviously, you will be bookmarking a lot of sites and, if you bookmark with your own IP address, the bookmarking sites will quickly develop a disliking to you. So, bottom line, you have to use a proxy server with Bookmarking Demon.
Now, I first tried to get away with “free” proxy servers. I would go to the fresh proxy list found at http://www.nntime.com/, click the country/state column to sort by country, and then I would select all of the proxies from the United States. I would then place these into the Bookmarking Demon proxy list.
I quickly learned this approach, though free, sucks. None of these proxies work well at all.
Here’s a way to see how bad they actually are. Choose one or two of these proxies and configure firefox to work with one of these proxies (to do this with firefox, choose Tools | Options | Advanced | Network and then click the Settings button where you do a “manual proxy configuration”.)
Now, try to surf the net. In fact, as I just did it, even though I picked a proxy from the United States, it was actually from the Netherlands. How do I know? When I brought up Google, it went to the Netherlands version of Google. Plus, it was incredibly slow.
So, what to do? These public, free proxies are not suitable for use with Bookmarking Demon.
I searched the Internet for “best paid proxies” and got various responses. It’s so hard to find if a review is “real” or someone “promoting the product”. My Google searches left me more confused about which proxy server to use with Bookmarking Demon.
Then, I thought, I am going about this all wrong. I bought Bookmarking Demon so why not just create a support call and ask them which proxy server they recommend to use with Bookmarking Demon. Why do easy revelations like this sometimes take a long time to come to?
Anyway, so I created a ticket with EdwinSoft makers of Bookmarking Demon and asked them: What is the best paid proxy server to use with Bookmarking Demon.
And they recommended ProxyBonanza.com.
I have just signed up with them and they are working great.
It costs $16 for 68 IPs. In the scheme of things, $16 is nothing.
And you can test how fast the proxy servers at ProxyBonanza are by doing the same test above. You can surf very fast with these IPs and the submission with BookMarking Demon actually work.
Conclusion: The best proxy server to use with Bookmarking Demon is ProxyBonanza.com.

Thank you so much!
Ever since my ip address was not being accepted by sites, my bookmarking went straight downhill. I started using free proxies but the connection kept timing out because they were absolutely useless!
Anyway, I can’t say thanks enough for introducing me to proxybonanza - I am going to sign up right now!
